FED CEO CEO distress index has not fallen this low since the dot-com bubble

I know I know, CEO sentiment is not the same as distress index. However, the distress index doesn’t go back that far.<br><br> CEO CEO distress index went into the red last January and has not been back since. It is at levels we have not seen since the dot-com bubble.<br><br>The last time is was below 50% was when CEO sentiment was 46.7%. CEO sentiment has been distressingly low ever since.
