Everything wrong with the USA today can be traced back to the advent of the internet

From the breakdown of communication to the degradation of intelligence due to echo chambers and confirmation bias. Today we see uninformed people talking about topics they know nothing about. It's gone so far that we actually have politicians who are mostly popular because of their "internet" presence. This idea that you can just google something at random and claim yourself an expert is getting out of control. It's caused us to become a nation of terrible conversationalists who have lost our critical thinking skills and can't seem to get past much on any topic besides "politics".
