Women ruined the beauty salon experience for me

I had to go to the barber to get a haircut and it was okay. Nerve-wracking, but the lady that cut my hair was very nice. I've been to men barber many times, but this was no problem at all. So I thought, why don't I go to a beauty salon and get my hair and beard done? <br><br>Well, I basically was ignored for the first half hour, and then I go sit down at a booth. The lady pulls my phone out of my pocket and takes a picture of my face with it. Then she brought me a little cup of wine and sat down next to me and started whispering "does your boyfriend like your hair this way?" "Maybe we should do it like this?" "Are you sure you want it like that?" <br><br>I just wanted a stupid haircut. I was really surprised that a barber could be preferable to a beauty salon when the opposite is what I expected. I don't mess with my hair like that, I barely even comb it. So this was surprising to me that a barber can just give me the haircut I ask for and a beauty salon cannot. <br><br><br>But I guess I should've known.
