Some cops don't care about your weed

I stole a cartridge from my local head shop, the lady caught me and I got fined and she banned me from the shop. I know she called the cops because I was driving out of the parking lot and the cops were coming in. I pull over and she asks me if I got anything on me. I said butt nude. The cops searched me and he found my weed. He looked at it and said you know how to roll a fatty bro? Cause this looks like a fat one. I said no so he said let's take it in the car and roll it. I did and we both are hitting it in the car. He don't care about my weed at all. Maybe this is a NC thing but woah.
