How do I get this out of my hair

I'm really embarrassed to admit this, but I got something white, tanned and sticky looking in my hair, and I can't run my fingers through my hair without catching on something. It's located on the top of my head, about an inch below my root and I have really short hair for a girl. I'm thinking it's a genital wart that fell off of my husband's head and onto mine and I can't get it out. Please help me I'm really embarrassed and I can't leave my room, I'm not going to sleep until I get it out. Please help
