I’ve recently seen some things about cooking on a dollar a day or a dollar fifty a day on this sub. I’m intrigued but I don’t know where to start.

I’ve always been a fan of the $1 budget meals on Budget Bytes, but that’s mostly because I want to be focused on the cooking/recipe more than the cost. But this week I made a recipe from a 1930s cookbook that was less than $1 a serving and it made me think about the cost more than I usually do.

I would love to have a collection of recipes from you all to help me know where to start and maybe you’ll want some more ideas as well.
