AITA for refusing to share a glass of my dead husband’s whiskey with my brother?

My husband passed away recently, and I still miss him like crazy.

Before he died, he went on some sort of distillery tour and had a bottle of whiskey made especially for him. I’m not much of a drinker, and neither was he, but he was so proud of it. So I kept it as a memory of him. It’s in the dining room along with his other mementos.

My brother and SiL are visiting for Christmas. I was cooking and my SiL said that my brother likes “special” alcohol. I offered him a bottle of wine or a beer, and I even told him where the liquor cabinet is. But when I turned around, he was in the dining room with the bottle of whiskey, opening it. I told him to put it back, and he said that I was crazy for keeping it. I told him it was none of his business. He got pissed and said that I was insane for keeping whiskey that nobody was ever going to drink.

I told him that it was for my husband, and that it was assy to take something so special. But he said it wasn’t special, it was just whiskey, and that I couldn’t let it go. He said I needed to get over it already and move on with my life.

AITA?
