YouTube (and the Internet as a whole) was much better when people were the content creators, not corporations.

It may be just the nostalgia talking, but I very much liked YouTube (and the Internet as a whole) way more back in the day when the majority of the content was created by the people. Now it's all about professional companies creating the content. I just wish things could go back to how it was before, or at least to an in-between point where it's not all professionals. I also wish social media would go back to normal people posting about their lives instead of influencing. I think this is just how it is when something gets popular, but it's a real shame.
