Here is an idea, a social app that connects people in a specific neighborhood formed around a specific topic (park, pub, grocery store etc)

So, more and more people are moving to the city and it's getting harder to make connections with other people. That's why I had this idea of a social app that connects people in the same neighborhood / street formed around a topic.<br><br>For example, "The park around the corner" is a spot, and all the people who live in the surrounding buildings around the park can connect with each other and discuss things common to them.<br><br>"What is the best way to get my groceries delivered from the nearby supermarket?"<br><br>"I saw a blind man walking alone in the park and couldn't be there to help him. Is anyone in the area to help?"<br><br>"Hey! Is anybody in the area who can help me assemble my new furniture?"<br><br>"I usually go for a walk in the park at 6pm. Would anyone like to join me?"<br><br>There could be various topics (e.g. the park, the supermarket, the pub, the bus station, the train station, the post office, etc.) and as soon as a person logs in, they see all the topics / spots in their area and decides which ones they want to join in order to have discussions with the people around them.<br><br>This could be more interesting than other social media because you would already have something in common with the people you are talking to (e.g. you live in the same area, you like to walk in the same park etc).<br><br>Let me know what you think, if you like the idea, if you see any flaws, if you think it could be successful, anything :)
