The low-flying low-grade irritants

Years ago I had to stay overnight at a friend’s parents place in San Francisco. I had to sleep on the couch and was unfortunately accosted by a WCSEB. She first dive bombed me, then crawled down my shirt. I thought the constant creeping on my skin was just the insane itching of chiggers on my arms after two weeks in the Sierras.
