Does anyone else find it sketchy when people say “No offense”?

I was having a normal conversation with a person when I saw something on their shirt. I asked them what did it mean and they explained. I was like “Oh, that’s cool” but then they said “No offense to you” and I was like “What’s wrong with me”?<br><br>I’ve had a lot of people say that to me before where I’m just having a normal conversation and then they go “No offense to you” and I’m just wondering what’s going on. They usually don’t say anything else about it, just leave the conversation weird.
