I've been trying to lose weight to improve my height to weight ratio for lacrosse and I'm currently 5'9 130 lbs. I've been losing around a pound a day so I'm getting in shape really fast. I would eat around 1600 calories a day with a caloric deficit of 500, which is what most websites say to lose a pound a day. However, this has been getting me to lose more than a pound a day. My weight loss always consists of 1lb of body fat and 0.5ish lbs of water weight. Should I increase my calories or should I keep this up? I've also been doing 45 min to an hour of cardio a day and I've noticed I'm not getting as tired as I used to when I do exercises. I don't do any weight lifting since I'm trying to lose weight.

TLDR: 5'9 130lb 17 yo lacrosse athlete who does cardio exercises but I'm losing more than 1 lb a day.
