My former home is occupied by an interesting doubling

I lived in St. Thomas USVI for a decade in the late 90s-2000s. By sheer coincidence I stumbled upon a TikTok account of a man who currently resides in the same condo I used to occupy on the island. There are several oddities about his place that caught my attention. <br><br>Here are a few of them:<br><br>1. The decor - he’s chosen many things similar to what we had. This is down to the same picture frame that we used for our most prized possession. <br><br>2. I had a full sleeve tattoo on my left arm. The owner now has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm as well. <br><br>3. He uses the exact same shampoo I used back in the 90s. <br><br>The closet thing to this that I’ve experienced prior to this was when I visited my best friend from high school at his new place in Colorado. It turned out his living room was the exact same dimensions as mine back in 1993. The corner my television was in was the same exact corner he put his. Even though my place was in Ohio and his was in Colorado and we had no idea the other even had their TV in that corner on that wall. <br><br>For some reason I’m drawn to this man on TikTok. Not for any reason other than we both occupied the same space at different times. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for months now. <br><br>Is there a reason I’m drawn to this otherwise unrelated stranger? Is the universe playing some joke on me? Does this man exist in the same parallel universe as me?
