Hey everyone, first post here.

A 30 year old friend of mine (let's call her Sally) is a few weeks away from going through a difficult breakup. A week or so ago a 22 year old fellow student (let's call her Chloe) approached her on a dating app, and without too much hesitation they had sex on the second date. The catch is that Chloe has a boyfriend and baby back home, who she said she hasn't been attracted to for a long time.

Chloe admitted to Sally that she and her wife had sex last, but they also agreed to open their relationship before she left for school. This night she went out with my friend for the first time, they went to a bar, and Sally admitted to prostitution after being kicked out of her house as a teenager. Chloe was very upset that Sally hadn't been honest about how she would treat her after knowing this, and a few days later tried to get back together with Sally, and the night before last she told my friend that she had ended things were her baby daddy, and that she wanted to be with my friend now.

Again, my friend hesitated for a night, and the next night after Chloe admitted that she had been with her baby before Sally, they slept together in the morning. My friend lets Chloe stay with her right now because Chloe doesn't want to tell her friends that she's no longer with her baby daddy, and that she's actually lesbian now. Chloe is afraid that she'll get kicked out of school and she's talking about moving in with Sally. Chloe says that she's never been attracted to her baby in the first place, and that she has now found a woman who loves her more, and it's now clear that she's never going to be attracted to her baby daddy again.

I told my friend that she needs to have a relationship, not some clingy codependency, and that it's not okay to trap someone, but my friend says it's none of my business. From what I've heard, Chloe hasn't been in the best mental health before, and that she's not as strong as Sally, and that she's taking advantage of her. Chloe even told Sally that she thinks she's crazy, and that she needs to be treated with care.
