When a little voice inside says "Don't answer, Don't go outside, no, no, no." - GO WITH THAT LITTLE VOICE!

Hi, i'm a little girl (15) from Germany and i'd like to tell you a story my mom told me that happened to her.<br><br>When my mom was 15 as well, she had a pretty great friend. They were together all the time at my grandpa's farm, on school, everywhere. My mom calls her "Katja" in this story, i'll do that too, because her real name doesn't matter, i guess.<br><br>One night, Katja came to my mom's house and wanted to talk with her because she had a pretty big problem. Her father was a pretty good friend of my grandpa for years even though they lived some kilometers away from his farm. The problem was that her parents had a big fight at home, so her mom took her and her siblings to their grandma but... left her father's name out.<br><br>My mom invited her into her room and asked what was wrong. Katja told her about her family situation right now and cried because she didn't know what to do. My mom had an idea: Her parents were on a trip to Paris and she was home alone, so she said: "Hey, you can sleep here if you need to, i don't mind." and Katja agreed.<br><br>The next morning, Katja said she had to go to the police station and talk to her dad. She wanted my mom to come with her so she wouldn't be alone.<br><br>The morning was a little strange but my mom didn't really care. When they arrived in the kitchen, my mom's mom called and wanted to talk about the trip. My mom didn't really answer her mom, just with some "okay" "yes" "i know" while talking to Katja at the same time. Katja just looked at the floor and didn't say a thing.<br><br>My mom found that really weird because she was the type of girl that always had something to say when my mom was on the phone. She just shrugged it off and said her mom could call again later.<br><br>After the phone call, Katja said they had to go. My mom agreed and said she would but just had to go to the bathroom at first. So she went upstairs while Katja waited in the kitchen. She closed the door and sat down on the toilet. She saw the phone there and thought for a short moment, then dialed her mom's number.<br><br>The phone rang several times but then her mom answered. My mom said "Hi mom, what's up?" Her mom said hi and my mom said something like "I didn't really have time to talk earlier, so what did you want?" Her mom was surprised because my mom didn't talk to her at all earlier and she didn't know what my mom meant.<br><br>Then my mom said that Katja was with her at the moment and they were about to go to the police station. Her mom was surprised and asked if they were okay, then my mom wanted to answer but the line was dead. The phone rang again and my mom said it was her mom. She wouldn't answer because she was still on the toilet. So she just thought: "Whatever."<br><br>She went downstairs to Katja who was waiting. Katja asked if they could go now and my mom said that they could. Katja had a big smile on her face and said something like "Let's go" and my mom said "Okay." Several seconds later, she said "Wait..." <br>Katja wanted to know what was wrong and my mom said: "You never smile like that." Katja said that it was okay, she was just happy. My mom wasn't really convinced. She thought: "What's wrong, why is she acting so strange?" And then this voice inside her said something like "Don't go, don't go, don't go." So she said: "No, lets stay inside."<br><br>Then Katja looked disappointed but my mom said she didn't really feel like going anyway and Katja agreed. So my mom said she could sleep in her room again if she wanted to and Katja said she'd love to. She went to the bathroom and my mom went outside with a friend to have fun as a teen.<br><br>When they wanted to go back inside, they saw that the front door was open. They thought that was weird because my mom locked it when she went outside. When they entered the house, Katja was waiting and asked where my mom went because she wanted to ask my mom something. My mom was surprised because she was there the whole time and then she told her friend to go home and she went inside alone as well.<br><br>When she entered, she saw a girl sitting in her room. The girl looked at her and my mom saw that it wasn't Katja. She asked who she was and the girl looked up and smiled and said: "She isn't home right now, do you want to wait?" My mom didn't answer, she just ran out the house and went to my grandpa's farm to ask for help.<br><br>When they came to the house, Katja was really confused and she called the police because the girl that really lived there didn't know my mom. My mom just ran away and said she never wanted to see that girl again.<br><br>The police found out that the girl in that house was an old friend of my mom's dad and she was home alone. So she let my mom in and waited for her. But my mom never came and she was too afraid to call the police. So they called my mom's parents and they said my mom wasn't with them. They looked everywhere for her but they didn't find her.<br>Then they found her in my grandpa's house and she told them everything.<br><br>In the end, it turned out that Katja had been replaced by some girl or woman or i don't know, an alien or something... What happened to the real Katja? No one knows. But my mom said that she felt really strange because the girl just copied Katja, she didn't act like her at all and she didn't even know my mom's mom's number, that was pretty strange. Because Katja and my mom switched phones often when they were at school, she should know that number.
