Skipped Valentines day and didn’t get dumped

So today, I skipped valentines day. No cards no flowers no dinner just didn’t happen because my partner knows I’m a massive grump and I’ve told her I hate valentines day. Also her birthday is two days before so I refuse to be guilted into doing anything. <br><br>She worked 8-2, I worked 12-10. I get home, 2 cards and a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates. I was expecting a screaming match or just a generally angry partner but none of that happened. She’s actually the best. <br><br>I just think this goes to show that the way the media is telling woman to be a total bitch and the way the media is telling men to be a total doormat is complete utter bullshit and women should just be allowed to be people and men should be allowed to be people.
