Anyone else have a "family secret" that is just between them and another relative?

My big brother told me a pretty intimate secret the other day, and I felt like I needed to return a secret, and man do I feel better! My brother married his girlfriend of 3 years last fall, and he told me last week that he got some kind of std from his new wife. It really bothered him and he asked for my help to get tested. I asked my brother why he married her if she cheated on him, and he said that he loved her so much that he couldnt imagine his life with anyone else. I really admire my brother for how much he loves. When we were done testing, I told him a similar experience I had. I got herpes when I was 17. My best friend in high school invited me over to his house while his parents were out of town. We were messing around and he asked if I wanted to have sex with him. I said no and he was really upset with me for a little while, then he told me about one of his other friends that he had sex with before. Then his friends mom. This guy is not gay and I dont think mom is too. But his friend got herpes from his mom, and thats how I got it too. My brother is one of a kind and didnt care that I had herpes. He just said hes glad it didnt get serious. I have been careful my whole life to not give it to anyone else, not even my wife. And I have never felt this way about anyone else.
