What are the chances that a family member appears in the same restaurant as you twice in a month while you're on holiday?

This happened to me this month and I'm still confused. <br><br>So I went to another country for holiday and stayed with a friend for 2 weeks, then I moved to another city where I stayed in a hotel, and at that hotel we had a restaurant. I was having dinner and a close family member walked past me. I was very shocked, they told me they live in the town and work at the hotel chain so they were there to meet people. The meeting was just outside and they popped in quickly to get something from their colleagues. They didn't know I was there and they live far from the city, it's not like they live next to the hotel. We didn't know they worked there or at the hotel chain in general. They just told us they worked in this big company, which is the hotel chain. <br><br>A week after we had the same scenario. A family member was supposed to visit as well and we wanted to have dinner at this restaurant again, but they never showed up. I was waiting for them for 1.5 hours and decided to give up. We went inside, ordered food and 10-15 minutes after we sat down a family member walks past us looking for me. They told me they drove to the wrong town and didn't arrive to our town on time due to being lost for 1-2 hours. If they didn't drive to the wrong town and got lost we would have missed each other. <br><br>It's just two weird coincidences that happened to me in the same restaurant, at the same table.
