Is anyone ever surprised how many people fall for propaganda when it is literally what they did the last time?

Barely 5 years ago, we were all told about the dangers of Omicron and people literally made posts showing how many cases were popping on their shores. Never seeing the writing on the wall. Never questioning anything.

Then the next day, shit goes from ooooh stay away to oh fuck, shit is hitting the fan. Maybe we should install martial law. You know, for your health. You know, to save you.

Fast forward to now and people are saying stupid shit like, *“we were wrong about the COVID pandemic, but we were wrong on the side of caution.”*

We weren’t on the side of caution. We were all wrong and we should admit it. We all got caught up in the media’s lies and fell for their manipulation. We should admit that we fucked up and start to think for ourselves. That way we wouldn’t fall into the same trap again and again.

I feel like this is what’s happening at the moment. *“Oh, 2000 new cases in the country? Yeah, that means war.”* If you literally use that same logic now, you would be ridiculed. So, why do you use it now? Why do you forget that you used that same logic the last time?

*“Oh, watch out for the next variant. It’s gonna be more aggressive and worse.”* You were wrong last time. Why must we believe you now? Why must we fall for your lies again? Why must we buy into your division and chaos? Why must we believe you when you literally lied to us the last time? Especially if you literally said you were lying to us the last time?

What makes you think you will be right this time? What makes you think that your fear will actually help you this time instead of just making you the instrument to their lies and division?

Why must you live in fear and never question anyone or anything?

Why must you be a slave to your fear?
