Why is everyone so adamant that the G36 is a bad rifle?

I mean, aside from a problem with thermal deformation (which was fixed) the G36 was used for over 20 years by one of the most powerful nations in the world before they started phasing them out. <br><br>I know that the standard meme is to call the G36 a glue stick with a stock on it. I'm pretty sure that's just a meme. It's obviously made of plastic, it has a polymer stock, but that's not the same as being made of glue. <br><br>For someone who doesn't want an AR, or an AK. Why is the G36 such a bad choice?
