Why do men actually watch "the big game"?

My friend invited himself over to watch the Super Bowl and this is not the first time that this has happened. There are usually 10 or so men and no women.<br><br>So why do men watch these sport games all the time? I have literally never met a man who doesn't like sports. Not a single one.<br><br>Edit: this was a very interesting discussion. Thank you all for the replies. I feel like I understand things more now :)
