My girlfriend has severe depression and I'm struggling to cope

It's my birthday today and I was hoping to celebrate by cooking for my girlfriend.<br><br>Most days she doesn't get out of the bed, so I have to look after her. I always have her on my mind and I end up doing anything for her. She doesn't do anything for me.<br><br>She doesn't communicate much and I find it hard to know what makes her happy. I'm starting to resent her, which makes me feel terrible.<br><br>I don't know if I can continue like this.<br><br>EDIT: Thank you all so much for the comments, I'm not overseas anymore and I have spoken to her.
