A 60-year-old retired doctor God in the comments taught me that I can use flashcards literally anywhere

I’ve tried flashcards before but never really clutch. Never really, fully got a taste of how clutch they could be, if that makes sense. But, today I was like “Wow, I’m making flashcards for everything! Even people’s names, even their dogs, even the brand of shirt they’re wearing.” Like if I was in a coffee shop and I saw a shirt I liked, I would take a picture of it and make a flashcard in like 2 minutes, and that would be it.

My very first flashcard was made a couple of years ago and I just made a bunch recently and I did a bunch of vocabulary flashcards and started doing my interviews with flashcards as well but it wasn’t until like just a couple of weeks ago that I really started making flashcards like this and it was only until today when I realized the, uh, the full extent of its capabilities. I’ve been just, like doing flashcards everywhere, and I was like “Wow, this is insane.”

Canceling the entire value of a day — maybe not a whole day, maybe not a whole day, but, like, a morning, like I canceled the entire value of an entire morning by not doing flashcards.

It’s like, okay, this is gonna take me like 3 minutes. I’m in the waiting room. I’m in the coffee shop. I’m in the car. I’m in the park. I’m at someone’s house and I’m waiting for them. I’m just, like, chilling outside.

And so, I mean, yeah, I guess that’s like the main thing I wanted to say. I want to say that I really did not understand how useful flashcards were until now, and that’s what I wanted to say. And I had an idea about flashcards that I wanted to share but I forgot, so yeah, that’s it. That’s the thing.
