It's not my fault. I spent a couple of weeks sick -- and for a week of that, my wife was also sick -- and we didn't want to make trips to the grocery store. We live in a different state than our nearest grocery store, so that's a hassle, and we both didn't really want to take the risk of infecting other people.

I'm feeling better now, but I'm out of money until next week, and everything I had in the fridge went bad. So that's why I'm starting from scratch. The fridge is busted and I don't have enough money to buy a new one, or food for the week, so I'll just have to live without it for the time being.

I'm staying in the Middle East right now -- a small country in the Arabian Gulf. The food here is very cheap, but it's not very healthy. I've lived here for a couple of years, but now I'm taking my diet seriously, so I need some help figuring out what to eat. I live in a small town far from the city, so I can only shop at a few small stores, not a big grocery mart.

What I am able to buy are the following things:

* Rice
* Bread
* Canned tuna
* Canned sardines
* Canned beans (not sure what kind, but they're small and round)
* Canned tomatoes
* Eggs -- these are really expensive here, which is why I'm not eating more of them
* Powdered milk
* Cheese
* Cookies (these are very cheap, but I am trying not to eat them because of the sugar)
* Instant noodles (these are very cheap but I'm not eating them because of the salt and fat)
* Chicken (breaded and frozen, so I have to either defrost or air fry it)
* Dried lentils (I'm not sure how to cook these with no fridge -- can the water go bad? I've had a bag for a week and tried to eat it, but all the water was slimy)
* Olives (these are actually really good for you, right? I can buy a big bag of them for a dollar)
* Fruits and vegetables -- apples, oranges, lettuce, spinach, carrots, broccoli, potatoes, onions. These are more expensive than the other stuff, which is why I can't afford to eat a lot of them. I'm trying to get at least one piece of produce in every day.
* Meat -- I can buy a pound of ground beef that is already cooked and spiced, and it's pretty cheap, so I've been eating that a lot. It's not very healthy, which is why I want some other ideas. I can also buy a pound of uncooked chicken for the same price, but then I have to cook it and I feel like I'm spending a lot of money for something that isn't even very delicious.

So that's it. This is my entire diet for the next week. Please help me figure out what to eat or I will go crazy.

I've been eating a lot of tuna sandwiches because it's easy and cheap. I've been eating air-fried chicken with rice. I've been steaming potatoes and carrots and eating them plain. I've been eating raw broccoli and apples. I've been eating a lot of bread.

I have a small air fryer but no other appliances. I'm trying not to eat too much bread, but it's so cheap and easy, and it's hard to avoid it when it's my only choice for a side dish. I'm trying to do at least one air-fried chicken breast a day and I alternate between rice and the steamed potatoes. I'm trying to eat at least one apple or carrot a day, and one serving of broccoli.

What else can I do? Do you have any suggestions for me? I'm happy to cook things but I don't want to have to spend a lot of time preparing a meal.

TL, DR: I have no money, no fridge, and limited access to a grocery store. Please help me figure out how to eat this week.
