What i i accidentally bred my lizard to my mother?

I got a pet lizard for christmas, and im only 11 so i dont now much about lizards. I usually use a large cardboard box to hold my lizard in so i can clean its tank. My mom brought home a lizard from the pet store and said it was a little bigger than mine and could be a child. I put the lizards in the box and closed the lid so they didnt escape. i was playing with the lizards when i heard a loud screeching sound and i opened the box and the male lizard was on top of the other one and was doing a weird dance. They were humping for a while but i didnt think anything of it. I didnt know anything till i got home from school one day and my mom was in my room yelling and crying. She had about 10 baby lizards in her the box. she said she got pregnant and i said i dont know how you got pregnant and she said she is a lizard too. i dont know what to think anymore. any advice would be nice.
