Just had the most surreal experience

We are currently on a trip in Italy and I had the most insane experience at a restaurant in Rome earlier today. <br><br>We made a reservation at a local trattoria in Rome. On the way to the restaurant we saw a street performer. He had a guitar, a few amps and a small speaker set up. He was also wearing a tiny camera on his head, which was recording his performance. <br><br>After a few minutes, a sign of a restaurant caught my eye, and I realized that the reservations we made were at the same restaurant that was in the performer’s camera view! <br><br>As we entered the restaurant we couldn’t help but notice that the performer was standing in the exact same spot that would put him in the camera view of the performer. We were all confused about the performer recording random people walking down the street until one of the waiters noticed the camera and realized that we were in the shot. They then rushed over to us and asked if we could come outside for a moment. <br><br>As we went outside, they told us that the performer was a street musician that had apparently gotten a record deal, and was recording a music video. He had been recording all day and had been waiting for the perfect shot in which a random person would stop to listen to his music. On the camera view he saw us in the restaurant and thought it would be the perfect shot. <br><br>Long story short, they asked us to walk out of the restaurant and act surprised as he’s recording. We of course said yes and I have never felt more like a movie star in my life. <br><br>Was just a weird experience and thought I’d share it here.
