Is it okay for me to be annoyed that I won't be seeing the happy ending I wish for in the anime?

I get it, happy endings are cliché, it should end with a more realistic and bittersweet ending, but if it does? I'm gonna be pissed. I've invested so much time in the anime that I want to see the happy ending. I want to be able to relax and watch an anime that'll leave me feeling warm and fuzzy inside after I finish it. If it ends in a bleak or bittersweet way it'll just leave me feeling disappointed in the end, it'll be like watching a movie with an unhappy ending. I'll watch the movie, I'll admire the quality of the movie, but I'll never watch it again, and that's what I'll be thinking for the anime. I'll give it praise and be impressed that it got me so emotionally invested into it, but I'll never be able to watch the anime again, and right now, I think it's one of my favorite animes I've ever watched. I don't want to be disappointed by the ending, I want to feel happy.
