Anyone here using a smart speaker in every room of their house?

I'm a high school student who takes computer coding classes at my local college. I'm thinking about using this opportunity to code something that will create an easy-to-use smart home setup for every room. I want to make a central webpage that you can use to sync the smart speakers in every room of your house to the same "group" that will all play the same music, making a home surround sound setup. <br><br>I don't have a clue where to start though. I'm a beginner and have no experience with IoT or smart home coding. I've been using python to complete the coding assignments as well as all of my personal projects. I'm thinking that I can use the Echo or the Homepod, but I want to make sure that it's easy to code the speakers. My ultimate goal is to code a webpage that you can log in and change the music in all of the smart speakers in the house very easily. I've also gone to various websites for smart home coding, but I don't know where to start.<br><br>I just want to make sure that the coding is easy enough that I can manage it.<br><br>TL;DR: I want to make a smart home system and I have no experience. What should I use?
