90% of the apps on the app stores could be condensed into a single app

The apps in question are the ones that are essentially 4-6 buttons overlayed ontop of a webpage, and then they claim that they are a mobile app. I think there should be an app that comes pre-installed on phones that is an app like this, that has a button for each of these apps that just opens the website in an in-app browser of sorts. There is no reason that there are apps for Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and Facebook Watch. I think something like this could be done for many other app categories too.
