Do you this this sub should allow posts about actual election news

I hereby propose that both this sub and r/DeportBiden should allow posts about actual news about the elections to be posted. That is to say, news about polls, candidates, and other election type news should be allowed on both subs.<br><br>I think people should be allowed to say whatever they want about politics, as long as it doesn't violate community rules, but people I've messaged about this have agreed that those types of posts should be banned. I understand the arguments against it, but I myself see no problem with it. In fact, I think that if both subs allowed those types of posts, it would make the sub a lot more interesting.
