What if God allowed Satan to take away every good and perfect gift from Job, including his health, wealth, family, limbs, and organs, but with one stipulation: Satan cannot take away Job's memories of how things used to be?

God and Satan were discussing how good of a man Job was. Satan argued that Job was only a good man because God protected him, gave him a great life, and blessed him with everything he could ever want. Satan argued that if God allowed him to take away everything God had given Job, then Job would no longer be a God fearing man.

God agreed, but with one stipulation: Satan cannot take away Job's memories of how things used to be.

Satan was given permission to take away everything from Job: his wealth, his health, his family, his friends, his possessions, his house, his limbs, his organs, his body parts, his senses, his freedom. Satan was allowed to do anything and everything to Job's body, but Satan was not allowed to take away Job's memories of how things used to be.

Job used to be wealthy. Now he is destitute and poor, but he remembers what it was like to be wealthy. He used to have a big house with a nice big backyard and his own bedroom. He used to have a car and was able to travel anywhere he wanted. He used to have enough money to buy anything he wanted, go on nice vacations, eat out at nice restaurants, buy a boat, buy an RV, buy a second house.

Job used to have a healthy body. Now he is handicapped and diseased. He is paralyzed from the waist down. He has a tube stuck in his throat to help him breathe. He has a tube stuck in his stomach to help him eat. He has a tube stuck in his shit hole to help him poop. He has a tube stuck in his dick to help him drain his bladder. A few of his organs have been removed. A few of his body parts have been amputated. He has a hole drilled in his skull to relieve the pressure from all of the fluid that has built up in his head. He is blind, deaf, and mute. He cannot smell, taste, or feel anything. But despite his handicaps, he still remembers what it felt like to be healthy. He remembers what it was like to be able to walk, to be able to run, to be able to climb a mountain. He remembers what it was like to have control over his body. He remembers what it was like to be able to do anything he wanted to do.

Job used to have a big family. Now he is alone and lonely. He has no family or friends left. Satan killed everybody that Job loved. But despite the fact that Job is now alone in the universe, he still remembers what it was like to have a big family. He remembers what it was like to have brothers and sisters, a mom and dad, a wife and kids, grandkids and great grandkids, aunts and uncles and cousins and nieces and nephews. He remembers what it felt like to be surrounded by people who loved him. He remembers what it felt like to be able to hug someone he loved. He remembers what it felt like to be able to hold someone's hand. He remembers what it felt like to be able to give someone a kiss on the cheek. He remembers what it felt like to be able to look into someone's eyes and tell them how much he loves them.

So the question is: Do you think Job will still be a God fearing man? If God gave Satan permission to take away every good and perfect gift from Job, but with one stipulation: Satan cannot take away Job's memories of how things used to be, do you think Job would still fear God? Do you think Job would still be a Christian?

This is a hypothetical because the God of the Bible would never do this. God is good and loves his people. If you read the Bible, you will see how much God loves people and wants the best for everyone. But hypothetically speaking, do you think Job would still be a Christian if God gave Satan permission to do this to him?
