So, every time i see someone talking about “traditional roles”… they’re just talking about how the man provides, and how the woman raises kids. It’s just a cover for women to avoid doing their traditional job 100% and for the men to work 90% and do all the dangerous job’s the traditional women roles do.

Women had 6-8 kids, in the past. Not 1, 2 or 3. They were expected to be a good mother to at least half a dozen children. They had to raise them themselves as well. They were also expected to cook, clean, and take care of the home. The man, was expected to work, die in war, provide, protect, etc, etc. To this day women like that don’t even exist. They expect to have 1-3 kids, work a job and have the man do all the other traditional roles.

They don’t want “traditional roles”, they want to be babied, protected, provided for and have kids. They don’t want to raise children, cook, clean, or do chores. They don’t wanna put in 100% of the work into raising and taking care of their children. They want that “traditional role” but don’t want to put in the work.

The man’s role is still the same. Working, providing, being disposable. While the women’s role is still the same as well. But they’re allowed to do what the men do without being held to the same standard. While the men are still held to the same standard of the traditional role of men. We shouldn’t let people talk about traditional roles. If we do, we should make sure that people understand what that really means.
