They're domesticated.<br><br>They evolved from the same cats that roam the desert, but at the end of the day they're nothing more than a cat that you allowed into your house.<br><br>They're no longer "wild animals" in the same way a wolf is, they're just animals that live in your house alongside you.<br><br>Just like how you wouldn't call a poodle a "wild dog" just because it had the same ancestry as them, you shouldn't call your cat a "wild animal" because it has an ancestor that was, 10-15 generations ago.<br><br>You encouraged it into your house.<br><br>It's no longer a "wild animal" at that point.<br><br>It's just a cat.
