$GPT is so overhyped and so under delivering

I don't know how else to express myself. I use $GPT for a personal assistant and it's not great. I use $GPT to generate LLM based code and it's not great. I use $GPT to generate code and it's not great. $GPT was supposed to solve all problems in the world, but instead it is a glorified chat bot that can do very little. I don't get it.
