1. People who become overly defensive over AI are generally the ones who are the most vulnerable to its threats because AI is very likely to take their job away.

I've seen this time and time again. Construction workers, warehouse workers, truck drivers, fast food workers(all of them by the way) who act as if they are untouchable.

They are the ones who are the most vocal about banning or heavily restricting AI. To those people, you are in great danger of losing your income.

AI is less likely to take a high paying salaried job away from someone than it is to take away your $15-$18 an hour wage. Your job is easy to transition over to a robot. People who work high paying salaried jobs are more difficult to replace with AI because they are more likely to require a level of intelligence that AI doesn't have, and that capacity won't exist for the next several years if not decades.

So you can keep acting as if you can't be replaced and that your job is safe but you will be hit the hardest when your job is taken by AI. You will struggle to find other employment.

So keep on saying you can't be replaced.
