I am from Assam , India. I was learning Manipuri history, <br>how the Magadha empire defeated the Manipur kingdom in 400bc. <br><br>Even the Manipuris would say that it's a fact that Bharat defeated us.<br><br>And that is true because Manipur had trade and culture with ancient India.<br><br>But who defeated Magadha ? <br><br>The nand empire defeated Magadha. <br><br>But is it not true that Magadha was defeated by us (Mauryans).<br><br>You see if Magadha empire defeated Manipur then Assam defeated Magadha and that's how Assam was connected with India. <br><br>But wait I the Nand empire defeated Magadha and then the Nand empire was defeated by the Mauryan empire.
