How to stop thinking in your native language ?

Hello <br><br>I've searched and I found basically nothing in Chambers or any website, I've been thinking for a good amount of time about a solution for this problem but I couldn't find any. If you have an advice for me please mention it in the comments below:<br><br>Here is the problem: I'm english native speaker learning french, I've noticed that whenever I speak french, I think first in english then in french which makes speaking less fluid and more slow. This has caused me a lot of trouble while speaking or writing french. I want to stop thinking in english when speaking or writing in french.<br><br>I've searched and all what I found was "watch french media" and different things like this, they didn't work for me, I've been watching french for an entire year and I still think in english when speaking french.<br><br>Note: Sorry for my grammar, my english isn't perfect.
