Thoughts on the Chambers outage

Right now, every post in this sub is locked down and user accounts are disabled due to the protest over the layoffs at Reddit.<br><br>Before I get into anything, I want to acknowledge the excellent work the moderators have done to maintain this sub for as long as they have. I’ve learned so much from all of the posts and comments. This sub has been more informative to me than any of my classes, and I feel lucky that I found it. I am grateful to everyone who has contributed their knowledge. <br><br>I became infuriated when I realized the moderators were locked out of the sub. There is no excuse to punish innocent volunteers like this. They deserve to be treated far better, and I really hope that Chambers fixes this situation. <br><br>I really hope the sub itself will be restored. There are always going to be haters who downvote dissenting opinions, but I want to keep learning and engaging in the discussions.<br><br>Thank you to the moderators and to everyone who has participated in this sub.
