I think my house girlhood friend was a serial killer

I (f27) used to be friends with a girl (f24 now) that I haven’t seen or heard from in years. We were friends from about 5th grade to 10th grade. When I was 14 she would spend almost everyday at my house. She never kept in contact with me after we weren’t friends anymore, but I recently found her on tiktok. After hours of watching her videos I think she might be a serial killer. <br><br>So about a year ago I was bored and watching random videos on tiktok trying to find content that is entertaining to me. I haven’t used tiktok for a while so I figured I’d give it another try. One of the first videos that popped up for me was of this girl with a familiar laugh who was eating poop. So I watched it and immediately recognized her laugh. It’s not an exaggeration to say that she has the most unique laugh I’ve ever heard. It sounds like she’s in pain. I found it annoying but also hilarious when we were kids. So I looked at her face and realized it was her. After that I just kept clicking on videos of her until I had watched most of them. <br><br>Watching girl pooping her pants and eating it wasn’t the strangest thing about her. One of her tiktoks was about how she had been a serial killer in a past life first got me really suspicious. It was basically a joke from what I remeber. She was making it out to be a funny story, like a wild thing that she had learned from her past life regression hypnosis. And actually, looking back on it and writing it down I realize it’s even weirder than I remembered. But that was it, it was a throwaway joke in that video so I just wrote it off. <br><br>As I watched more videos I started to notice how often this topic kept coming up. Then I found out that she actually had a whole separate instagram account for her alleged true crimes. It was mainly about her past lives, but it also mentioned a few crimes that she allegedly committed in this life. She went into details about specific murders she claimed to have committed in past lives. I don’t know how anyone can have such vivid details stored in their brain (or make them up). What seemed really suspicious is that she specifically stated that she had killed children in past lives. It really seemed like a red flag to me. <br><br>So I started doing some research to see if anything ever actually happened. I’m a journalist, so I have access to newspaper archives in my home state and in my home town. I looked up her name, the names of her family members, and her address to see if there’s been any crime reported. Nothing really showed up from a basic search. <br><br>Next, I looked up missing children and teens in my area for the time that we were friends (and before we were friends). I found one case of a 12 year old girl who had gone missing but they found her body in a river and ruled that she had accidentally drowned. I have the feeling that might be bullshit. <br><br>I think she might be a serial killer. I have not spoken to her in over 10 years and I don’t have any intention of speaking to her again. And that’s why they call it… Let’s Not Meet.
