i just don’t get it. why is it such a problem to include childfree people in things? (updated)

i (13f) have one friend (14f) who loves to play video games and stuff. so i decided to join her on a server of hers and only a few days later, i get asked to join a vc with their friend group. no problem right? i join and there are a few men in their 30’s there and ask how old i am and we’re talking for a little bit and one said he has 2 daughters and the other has 3 and is expecting his 4th? i don’t really remember. it started to get weird for me and when i’m about to leave they’re like “oh, i’ve got a story for you!!” and pulls up a picture of his baby doing something, i don’t remember what, and basically told me he watched his baby’s birth and i was really not okay with that so i left. <br><br>also, this isn’t related but i don’t know where else to put this. i asked my other friend if she was going to the party he’s having tomorrow, and her response was “no, i’m just gonna go home and give my baby a bath.” i was like “whoa, um, you have a baby? how old is it?” and she said she’s 6 months pregnant. i know we’re all in high school, but wow. that was really shocking to me.
