The reality of indians celebrating Diwali with fireworks

I don’t know if you guys have seen or experienced this but there’s a trend of indians saying that Diwali fireworks are eco friendly and there’s no noise / air pollution. This is absolute nonsense. Diwali fire crackers have been banned in many states and cities because of the high levels of pollution they produce each year. I myself live in a state where fireworks have been banned and I can confirm that Diwali has become so much more enjoyable in past couple of years. For all my hindu brethren, please raise a voice against people who oppose the ban on Diwali fireworks.
