Changing careers from a "high paying" job to a relatively "low paying" job

I make about 250k a year in total compensation and I am considering changing careers, probably to social work. I expect to make about 60-70k for the first few years of being a social worker, with potential for about a 20% raise after getting a masters. I’m a single parent of a 3 year old and also have about 100k in student loans at 7-8% interest, and an additional 20k or so of credit card debt from being in a car accident and having to purchase a replacement vehicle on credit (also at 20-25% interest). I would love to walk away from this job ASAP but that’s obviously not a possibility and I’m not sure what to do now/

I’m feeling stuck.
