My dad is a high-value man

My dad is in his late 50's, in great health and in great shape. He's about 6'4, never lifted a weight in his life but is still somehow ripped as all hell. He has a strong jaw, close-cropped hair, and is well-dressed. He's basically the opposite of me: as a 5'11 130-pound weedy nerd with a receding hairline, I pale in comparison to him.

He's been an unironic alpha my entire life, and as a nerdy shy kid in school I often wished he would stop being such a "dick" in public. Turns out being a hard-nosed, no fucks given alpha that does not take shit from anyone is what allowed him to build such a large following of people who just want to be his friend. He's a high-value man, he's just a fucking awesome person, and if I could be half the man he is by the time I'm his age I'll be very fortunate.

He's a high level executive at a very large company, but I don't think he lets that go to his head. He's still the same hard worker he was when I was a kid. He's also dm'ing 2 campaigns, working as a sous chef at a local resturaunt. He's still a reserve police officer. I'm pretty sure he's still working at the local hospital too, and he's still a substitute teacher. What he does by himself in one day is more than I do in an entire week, and he's twice my age.

He doesn't tolerate any kind of nonsense from anyone. He always speaks his mind to everyone and tells them exactly what he thinks. He is direct, no-nonsense, and it doesn't matter if you're some random person on the street or a high-ranking member of a large corporation: if you're being inconsiderate or wrong, he will make sure you know it, in no uncertain terms. He's a hard-ass, but he's a hard-ass to everyone.

He's also one of the kindest, gentlest, most generous, most caring people I've ever met, and I've always felt so fortunate to have him in my life. He took me to the emergency room when I dislocated my shoulder, he stayed up with me all night when I had a stomach bug, he drove me to band practice when I played the bass, and he let me cry on his shoulder when I got my heart broke for the first time in my life.

And despite all this, he is FIERCELY loyal. If you're a friend to him, he will stand by your side through thick and thin. He won't care if you're right or wrong, he will back you to the death. He will do anything to help his friends, even if it costs him his own happiness. He's been a police officer, an EMT, a member of the coast guard, and a soldier, and as a veteran, he's as american as apple pie. But the truth is, he would honestly probably give his life for a friend if they needed it.

He's a wonderful, kind, gentle, loyal person who also just happens to be a massive Chad. He's 100% physically, mentally, and emotionally a real man. I honestly hope I can one day be exactly like him, but I highly doubt it.
