I imagine AI will never get good enough to make stuff that "feels" right. Hopefully this is true.

Given the current rate of progress of AI, I imagine that AI-created content will get closer and closer to being indistinguishable from human-created, but never quite get to that point.

AIs, no matter how they are trained, will never be able to create something new that *feels real*. Humans can (a certain percentage of the time) create new things that feel authentic, new, and original, and that's something that AIs may never be able to replicate.

AIs imitate, AIs can ramble on about meaning or even produce content that feels real in the moment, but *truly authentic* content from AIs is something that I can't imagine happening anytime soon.

AIs will probably always be stuck replicating human efforts, naive of what they are being trained on, and will always have a shiny sheen to them. Not that I imagine AIs will be able to replicate human emotions anytime soon, but the possible evolution of the arts, or that of public spaces, could be a fun distraction.

(If you want to make a point about the apparent irrelevance of humans, or that AIs will replace artists, you're not really on the same page here, and you can't imagine how it feels to create something *by hand*.)
