My father was a very sentimental man and took his parenting very seriously. He never let me out of his sight for a moment when I was a kid and was very protective of me. I was raised in a lower middle class family but my dad worked very hard and saved every penny and spent only on the essential stuff. He was kind and very gentle and looked after me very well as my mother had passed away when I was just 3. I was his only child and he was very proud of me.

I grew up in a small village in a pretty big house. It was a bit old but it was a house that his father built for him on his birth day. I was very fond of that house. My grandfather was a furniture maker and he made the whole house with his bare hands. The walls were made of concrete but it was a very big house. It was a double story house and we owned the whole land till the main road. We had a garden and a small stable as well where my dad used to keep the cows. My dad was a farmer by profession and he used to cultivate and harvest crops.

Since I was growing up my dad started letting me roam around the village freely but he always accompanied me till I was in my teens. He was very protective of me and never let me out of his sight. My friends used to tell their parents to let them come to our house alone so that we could play. But my dad never allowed it. He used to say "why do you need to go to their homes? They can come to my house and play with my son. I don't want any of you kids to go alone to someone's house unaccompanied."
