How can you be a busy college student and spend hours cooking elaborate meals?

I can’t grasp the concept of being a busy college student and spending 2+ hours cooking a whole elaborate meal. Many people in this sub are saying they’re college students and they all claim they can cook some complex 3 course meal. I’m a college student and I barely have time to take a shit, let alone spend 2 hours in the kitchen. <br>I want to do elaborate cooking but I literally cannot find the time to do it. Especially with a full course load and working. Only on the weekends do I have time, and that's when I stock up on food for the week and cook in bulk. During the week I have maybe half an hour to an hour to eat dinner, and that is being generous. <br>It’s just unrealistic to expect a college student who is probably already cooking for themselves to be able to spend 2 hours to make a meal.
