As a man, what is the most hardcore loss I will have to endure in my life?

Obviously it depends on the person. But I personally believe the most hardcore loss a man will endure is losing his wife. Everyone says losing a kid is always the hardest. But a kid is not really some you are sexually linked to in the way you are a romantic partner.
