COVID-19 is a professional development FOR OUR PARENTS as it's clearly a trial for them

Parents who complain about teachers, parents who don't appreciate teachers who work with special needs kids, parents who fucking send their kids to school when they are sick, parents who take luxury vacations and then send their kids to school with an "excuse" note because of concerns about COVID-19, parents who claim they can do better than us but NOT AT THE LOW SALARY WE MAKE. Fasten your seatbelts, you're *all* doing this with insufficient training, on a shoestring budget and you're going to face all the bumps along the way on your own. You have to do this for the next 2-4 weeks, and if you fail, your child's entire future will be at stake.

And to those of you who are cool, we may be working remotely during this time, but we're still here for you, your kids, and your extended family. That's just what we do.
