Why do leftists have to be so obsessed with minoritized groups?

I am an African woman and I am confused. I have been reading leftists for two years and reading Marx and Lenin and Gramsci, Luxemburg, and others. I joined this sub because I want to know more about Wicca and the connection between feminism and religion and power.<br><br>But the more I read, the more I am angry. I am angry because no matter what, leftists always talk about **minorities**. It's like something is wrong with our bodies, with being black or a woman or queer. Leftists are so obsessed with this, they spend all their time on twitter and Chambers talking about how **we** are oppressed. But I don't want to be a victim! I want to overthrow the system! I want to fight!<br><br>You always center the conversation on **oppression**, not on **resistance**. You talk about how much we are hurt, not about how we are strong and how we have survived. I want to change society. I want to make a revolution, together with you. I want us to organize and beat the bourgeoisie and the patriarchy, imperialists and colonizers. I want to change everything. <br><br>But what do you talk about? You talk about our vaginas. You talk about our skin. You say "you can't oppress someone for being black, but you can oppress someone for being white." You say "you can't oppress someone for being a woman, but women can oppress men." You say "you can't oppress someone for being gay, but you can oppress someone for being straight, but only if you are in a minority." <br><br>What? This makes no sense. Why do you talk about this so much? I want to read about war, about guns and organizing and strategy. I want to read about fanon and Lumumba and senghor. I want to read about the future, not identity politics. You focus on what makes us weaker, but I want to be strong.<br><br>I think this is why many people say that the left is bourgeois. You are too ironically in bed with neoliberalism. Idpol divides us, it makes us fight over who is the most oppressed. Anti-immigration sentiment is on the rise, and still you talk about idpol. You play into the hands of the bourgeoisie and imperialism. <br><br>What makes you so obsessed with our genitalia? I hate it. I hate everything about it. We need to talk about resisting capitalism, not about resisting our historical oppressors. If the only thing you care about is being oppressed, then I am not a leftist.
