I’m 100% convinced a street gang in a packed parking garage tried to kidnap me.

I was a kid when this happened - probably about 12 years old. This was in a big city. We were in the parking garage of a large, indoor sports arena and my dad and I were walking in with a pretty large crowd. <br><br>As we walked into the parking garage, there was a bunch of shady street boys (I think they were black) hanging around. I remember having a bad feeling about them the second I saw them. <br><br>We turned a corner down a hall and there was only 4-5 of us together. The shady kids were still lingering just behind our group. I saw one of them come up and grab a woman’s ass who was walking just in front of me. I remember thinking “wow, what a scumbag.” <br><br>I don’t know what happened next, but suddenly everyone was gone in all directions. I don’t remember hearing any screaming, I just remember no one was there anymore and I was all alone with the shady boys. I was I scared. <br><br>One of them came charging up to me. I was terrified. I somehow managed to run backwards and stumbled down a flight of stairs. I scared the shit out of my dad when I came running around the corner. <br><br>We told security and they chased the boys away, but we never saw them again. I’ve always wondered, what the hell were we just about to happen to? I’m 100% convinced they planned to kidnap me if they got me away from the group.
